Jim Moran, a Hollywood publicist, had this photo made and proceeded to publicize "The Topless String Quartet" even actually getting them booked to play. It was all a publicity stunt by the man who actually once found a needle in a haystack and changed horses in midstream (the Truckee River in Reno, Nevada).
